Ah yes, well, this is about as real as it gets…utterly unedited and unprofessional and out-of-sync. LOL. It's fun, too, in a crazy, jumping-out-of-a-plane kind of way – once you get your ego and your inner critic well out of the way, and stop wincing at the weird things you never realised you did with your mouth…

And I've seen yours, Yvette, and you DO present really well on camera.

Hey Tracey – we have the same walls. Funny that this might be the motivation I need to get my ass into gear and my face onto camera. It’s always nice to see someone speak -and it IS MUCH HARDER but I think mostly the first time.

I’m worried people will see how slow I am in real life. I can talk plenty with someone talking with me, but left to my own I just don’t have much to say. I mostly stare at stuff and stuff.

Hon, I have a hard time believing that you don’t have much to say. LOL. But yes, I understand – I have these brainwaves (while doing other things, of course) about what I’d like to talk about, but sit down in front of the camera, and clarity flees. If it’s any help, I think this was my third take.

Of course, another approach is to start by interviewing other people. If you don’t want to talk to yourself, don’t! You’ll be stimulating each other’s thoughts and driving the conversation together – heaps good value for your listeners, if you choose the right participants. IMHO…
